Research Priorities & Collaboration
"MSU has initiatives to invest in these areas, including the Center for Urban Health Equity (CUHE) and the Center for Equitable Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning Systems (CEAMILS). This awarded PAIR project is a continuity for such initiatives to build a research lab focused on AI/ML for health equity research that utilizes biomedical and biological data. Therefore, it will not only strengthen and expand the research capacity at our institution, but also help in developing an inclusive AI/ML workforce by attracting talented underrepresented students to pursue health equity research using AI/ML tools." -- MSU 2023
